Run the infrastructure that has to survive a few hundred players hitting it at once in a field with patchy connectivity, then scale back down on Monday.
Experience with containers, a major cloud provider and infrastructure-as-code.
Comfortable owning production reliability and on-call rotations.
Bonus: experience with edge or on-premise deployments.
Own CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code and environment provisioning.
Plan capacity and run game-day rehearsals before each live event.
Build on-site fallbacks for degraded connectivity.
Keep observability, backups and incident response in good shape.
